Religion of Peace Strikes Again

The Religion of Peace strikes again. To understand the religion of Islam and its political ideology, I complied this definition of terms. It is important that you know them to understand the nature of what Western Democracies are facing in these dangerous and tumultuous times. It is a little long, but if you find any merit, please pass it on in your sphere of influence.

Important Terms to Understanding Islam:

Islam means “submission,” a complete compliance to the will of the god of Islam, Allah.

Koran or Qur’an means “recitation” in Arabic. Muslims consider the Koran their “holy book.” There are companion writings promoting Islam as well. They are called the Hadith and Sirah.

Beginning in 610 AD supposedly the angel Gabriel began to deliver divine messages from Allah to Muhammad. For twenty three years these communications persisted. Muhammad was commanded to recite them all. Eventually these recitations were compiled by Muhammad’s followers, which became the basis for the Koran.

Five Pillars of Islam is the foundation upon which Muslim life and worship is built. They are:

• The Shahadah, faith or belief in the Oneness of God and the finality of the prophethood of Muhammad;
• Salah, establishment of the daily prayers five times a day;
• Zakah, concern for and almsgiving to the needy;
• Sawm, self-purification through fasting; and
• Hajj, the pilgrimage to Makkah (Mecca) for those who are able.

If these were the only elements involved with Islam, the controversy surrounding Islam would lessen considerably. However, these religious rudiments are mixed with its militaristic, political pursuits that make Islam a totalitarian system that cannot be ignored. Especially amongst men and nation that prize their freedoms. As the old Albanian proverb states, “Where a horse of a Turk (Muslim) passes the grass will not grow again.”

Allahu Akbar means “God is the Greatest” or “God is bigger” in the sense of domination. It is a common phrase uttered by Muslims in prayer. It is used for various other reasons and to express an assortment of emotions. Tragically, this is also the idiom ritually shouted by Muslims just before they kill themselves and the “infidels” in suicide missions.

Jihad means “struggle in the cause of Allah.” The moderate Islamic position is similar to the Christian doctrine of the old man (sinful nature) warring against the new man (godly nature), the internal struggle between the flesh and the spirit to lead a righteous life. In this, however, they are spiritualizing the text of the Koran. The true Jihad is to raid, fight, and loot “infidels.” As you will soon learn the more violent and abusive a Muslim acts, the truer he is to the text of the Koran and the ideal Muslim, Muhammad.

The Koran presents a true Muslim as one who believes in Allah and his prophet Muhammad. Plus, “And never since doubted, but have striven with their belongings and their persons in the Cause of Allah; such are the sincere ones.” (49:15). If Jihad is just an internal, spiritual struggle for Allah, what need is there for belongings and other persons to join the fight?

One man by the name of Yoel Natan compiled 164 references of Jihad in the Koran. Each of these verses was based on some reference that concerned “the struggle for Allah.” Most of the passages mention military expeditions, fighting, or distributing the spoils of war. Verses not generally listed are those that speak about aspects of Jihad other than the raiding, fighting and looting. Passages, such as, Muhammad's poor opinion of those who did not go on Jihad, even though they were able-bodied and financially solvent, the heavenly rewards for Jihadists, and the many generic mentions of "victory" found in the Koran.

Mosque is a place of worship set apart for Muslim prayers (salat), information, education, and to settle disputes. Its counterpart in Judaism would be a synagogue, in Christianity, a church building. Mosque in Arabic is called masjid, which literally means a place of “prostration.”

Imam is the spiritual leader of a mosque who oversees Muslim prayers and disputes. It is a religious title derived from the Arabic amma, "to lead." In the Shia branch of Islam, an imam, Islamic religious leader, may be regarded as a direct descendant of Muhammad or Ali and appointed by Allah. In the Sunni branch of Islam, an imam is not as special. He is just considered a normal leader in an Islamic community.

Suras are the division of chapters or sections that constitute the Koran. Suras are further subdivided into ayat, "verses." There are 114 Suras altogether. Some variant copies of the Koran list only 111 suras, omitting suras 1, 113, and 114. One copy added two more suras, which contained additional prayers for a total of 116.

The Hadith is a narrative chronicling the words and deeds of Muhammad. The Hadith in Islam serves a similar purpose for Muhammad as the four Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John do for Jesus Christ. Some Muslims, such as, Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan consider the Hadith, “the Second Inspiration.” It is therefore “incumbent” upon every Muslim to believe and obey its writings as well.

The two main sects of Islam, Shi`ism and Sunnism, have different sets of Hadith collections. In Islamic jargon, the term hadith refers to reports of proclamations or deeds of Muhammad, or of his tacit approval of something mentioned or done in his presence.

Kafirs is the Islamic term for unbelievers. It is an extremely derogatory and condescending term reserved for infidels by Muslims. The Koran has much to say about the Kafirs. They can be hated, 40:35, mocked, 83:34, punished, 25:77, beheaded, 47:4 deceived, 6:25, plotted against, 86:15, terrorized, 8:12, annihilated, 6:45, killed, 4:91, and crucified, 5:33. The Koran prohibits a Muslim to make friends with the Kafir, 3:28. The Koran permits Muslims to war against the Kafir, 9:29. The Koran also claims that the Kafir is ignorant, 6:111, evil, 23:97, should be disgraced, 37:18, and cursed, 33:60. Muslims can steal from the Kafir, Bukhari 5, 59, 537. And last but certainly not least, Muslim can rape captured Kafir women, Ishaq 759 (Muhammad's official biography).

Dhimmi means Infidel servitude. Any people group conquered by Muslim hordes becomes a subjugated people scarcely tolerated in their dispossessed lands. Under dhimmitude, non-Muslims must pay various taxes and tolls, live a second class life, and suffer injustice at the hands of “Islamic justice.”

There are two radically different systems of justice under Islam, one for the believer and the other for the infidel. This dualistic system is designed is to wear out the non-believer until they submit to Islam. If dhimmis recant and accept Islam, however, Muslims will recant of their ill-treatment towards them.

The dhimmi’s second class life consists of giving complete deference to their Muslim neighbors. Much like African-Americans were subjugated in the south under the unjust Jim Crow laws. Beyond this, the dreadful existence suffered by dhimmis depends on the whims of despotic rulers and Muslim mobs who routinely deny them even the little that was supposedly granted to them under Islamic law.

Thus, for the Kafir (non-believer), there are only three options available when forced to deal with Islamic domination. They are convert, become their dhimmi (slave), or die.

Fatwa is a legal opinion or ruling issued by an Islamic scholar. It is not as binding as let’s say common law rulings, but still carries some weight in deciding Islamic issues and disputes. In other cases, however, a fatwa can be issued to promote violence against individuals perceived to be blasphemers of Allah and his prophet, Muhammad.

Case in point is the murder of Dutch filmmaker, Theo Van Gogh, in the Netherlands by a Muslim assailant. Van Gogh worked on a film with a Somali-born writer Ayaan Hirsi Ali called Submission. The film exposed the harsh treatment suffered by women held captive by Islam. Just before his brutal murder by a Dutch-Moroccan Muslim, Mohammed Bouyeri, a public petition was circulated by the Muslim community in the form of a fatwa to protest Van Gogh. The wording made it clear that it was speaking on behalf of Muslims “whose patience had ended” and stated that; “Theo Van Gogh's continued attacks on Islam cannot go unpunished.” “We are angry and have a right to be angry.”

Jizya is Muslim taxation enforced upon the dhimmi living in conquered lands. Muslims not only tax non-Muslims, but as mentioned prior do so in humiliating ways to hopefully grind the non-believer into submission to Islam.

Honor Killings: Human Rights Watch defines "honor killings" as follows:

Honor crimes are acts of violence, usually murder, committed by male family members against female family members, who are held to have brought dishonor upon the family. A woman can be targeted by (individuals within) her family for a variety of reasons, including: refusing to enter into an arranged marriage, being the victim of a sexual assault, seeking a divorce — even from an abusive husband — or (allegedly) committing adultery. The mere perception that a woman has behaved in a way that "dishonors" her family is sufficient to trigger an attack on her life.

Anyone who converts from Islam to another religion could also become a target for an “Honor Killing,” be they male or female.

Religion of peace as defined by Muslims is world conquest. Only when the entire world is submitted to Sharia law can the world achieve peace. According to Islam, the world is broken up into two houses, the House of Islam, dar al Islam and the House of War, dar al harab. Jihad will cease when the House of War becomes the House of Islam.

This means the battle we are facing in the West is not going away anytime soon, especially, if the West still prizes their liberty. Political correctness and relativism, has all but neutered the West’s ability to respond correctly to this historic threat. If we continue to cower, however, Islamic “world peace” will spread, but what will that portend for our posterity?

Sharia Law is most famous for its penal code. The prescribed punishments for sexual offences include stoning; for theft, amputation; and for apostasy, the punishment is death. In extreme cases, nations like Saudi Arabia actually employ The Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice. It has approximately 3,500 members, and many more volunteers. These “virtue police” patrol the streets enforcing dress codes, strict separation of men and women, salah prayer by Muslims during prayer times, and other activities it deems to be commanded by Islam.

Lying (Taqiyya and Kitman): Muslim scholars teach that Muslims should generally be truthful to each other, unless the purpose of lying is to "smooth over differences."

There are two forms of lying to non-believers that are acceptable under certain circumstances. They are taqiyya and kitman. These conditions are typically those that would prove advantageous to the cause of Islam. In some cases, these planned deceptions are used to gain the trust of non-believers. The purpose, if need be, is to draw out their vulnerabilities in order to defeat them.

Recently, an ex-Muslim who converted to Christ spoke of this deceptive practice and revealed the duplicity associated with taqiyya. Walid Shoebat discussed how a Muslim would act amongst infidels in comparison to how they would act amongst each other.

He mentioned one incident in his life where a scud missile killed some Americans in battle. He initially heard the news amongst Americans and feigned compassion for their loss. But when he left, rejoicing filled his heart as he opened his window and screamed down the highway “Allahu Akbar.” When he got home, he immediately called his fellow Muslims and invited them over. There they watched the footage together and celebrated before Allah the death and misfortune of the infidels.

Western Democracies, this is what you are up against. To invite this into your nation, to protect it at the expense of your own citizens and then use these attacks to diminish the freedoms and disarm your own people who suffer from this danger is betrayal in the highest order.

Repent and believe the Gospel. The Kingdom of God is at hand!
