Homeschool and the Kingdom
American Reformation Church is launching a Homeschool Support Group Page to help parents to consider homeschool as the best option to educate their children.
Three main reasons to homeschool:
First, to honor God's chosen government to educate our young which is family government.
Education is not just a learning issue, but a jurisdictional one.
Second, to protect our children from the spirit of the age and the evils propagated by government sponsored public education.
Education means to pour in and draw out. What is being taught and what kind of behavior is being made manifest?
Third, to pass on a multi-Kingdom generational vision to our children.
This episode also explores Noah Webster's first edition 1828 dictionary that defines the word education.
The importance of training our children in godly character.
Academics are important, but not as important as a religious education.
An immense responsibility rests on the parents and not the state or the church to teach our young.
Warnings from history:
Martin Luther, German Reformer stated, “I am very much afraid that schools will prove to be the great gates of hell unless they diligently labor in explaining the Scriptures, engraving them in the hearts of youth. I advice no one to place his child where the Scriptures do not reign paramount. Every institution in which men are not increasingly occupied with the Word of God must become corrupt.”
Study the Humanist and Communist Manifestoes to discover their plans to use public education to introduce a new religion, humanism, to replace the rotting corpse of Christianity in the minds of our children.
John Milton, author of Paradise Lost, stated, “The end of learning is to repair the ruin of our first parents by regaining to know God aright; and out of that knowledge to love Him, to imitate Him, and to be like Him.”
